You don’t have to let relationship problems complicate your life.
I can help you resolve a variety of issues, including:
All marriages go through difficult times. I am committed to helping couples identify the sources of dissatisfaction and conflict, and helping couples to develop new strategies for solving those problems.
Depression and anxiety affect most people at some time or another. I can help identify contributing factors that cause these disorders. I am also able to assist in developing lasting strategies to manage these sources of distress.
Attention Deficit Disorder (AD/HD)
Attention Deficit Disorder, also known as ADD, is characterized by the inability of a child or adult to sustain his or her attention. The disorder can manifest itself through hyperactivity, inattentiveness, moodiness and bursts of temper. I work closely with families and physicians to identify and treat the disorder.
Parent Coordinator & Child Custody/Divorce Mediation
Sometimes couples decide they are no longer able or willing to stay married. As an alternative to costly and adversarial court battles, Divorce Mediation can aid couples in making decisions in a peaceful manner. If children are involved, Parenting Plans can be developed to assist both parents in continuing their role in the lives of their children. I am registered with the Tulsa District Court Families in Transition Program as a Mediator and Parenting Coordinator.
Oklahoma LPC Supervision
I am a Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health Licensure (BBHL) approved LPC Supervisor. Over the last 34 years I’ve worked in a variety of settings: community mental health, inpatient, day-treatment/partial hospitalization, church-based, and private practice. In 3 ½ decades, there isn’t much I haven’t seen. Additionally, I have been an adjunct professor who has taught counseling techniques, ethics, and supervision classes at the graduate level. I am always willing to talk to good LPC Candidates to see if we might be a good fit for supervision.
